Road Trip

On Thursday Paul-John, his brother and I will be driving 14 hours to Kentucky for a family reunion. His family has a large reunion every two years, and this will be the first one I am going to. I have really been looking forward to the trip - I have bought snacks, have the perfect car knitting project, and picked out a road trip theme song. I've never been to KY and was really looking forward to the road trip aspect as well as the reunion.

Until I found out that we are I-80 all the way through Pennsylvania. I've done this once, in high school, with my then boyfriend - we went to Grove City to visit his brother in college. And then for those two semesters at Lycoming, I made half that trip many times. SUPER BORING.

However, at least the driving will be easy (flat and straight for hours and hours) and the second half of the trip, through Ohio and KY, should be interesting since I've never driven through either of those states. And Dan and Paul-John have agreed to play road-trip games! My favorite is writing down how many different state license plates you see. If you have a favorite road trip game or song, let me know!
